Storyteller & Creative Leader with expertise in translating Local Culture into Scalable Global Assets
Young is a creative strategist who transforms cultural insight into campaigns that connect millions through the implementation of Strategic Translation Intelligence. For over three decades, he's designed communication experiences for large corporations, government agencies, and cultural institutions—from stadium-scale installations at Hard Rock Stadium to Canada's 150th anniversary celebration at the Royal Ontario Museum. His work demonstrates his core philosophy: bridging global brand vision with authentic local expression.
Born in Toronto, Canada, to Jamaican-Chinese parents, Young emigrated south to the US in his early 20's. His multicultural heritage and commitment to international travel together cultivate his approach to every opportunity—allowing for the creation of effective communication assets that honour individual identity while simultaneously expanding global impact.
Whether directing creative teams across continents or mentoring emerging storytellers, he delivers work that moves people and measurably advances organizational goals. Currently building platforms that connect Eastern and Western companies, culture, and economies, Young delivers Strategic Translation Intelligence to assist brands navigating complex global markets.
